I was recently commissioned by journalist Angus Kennedy of Kennedy’s Confection to cover his visit to the Tunnocks factory in Uddingston, Glasgow.
Kennedy’s is known across the world as a leading authority and source of technical and business information for the confectionery and bakery industries. The photos below were commissioned for their magazine and Angus’s forthcoming book “Angus and the chocolate factories”.
Tunnocks have been around since 1865 and I doubt there are many coffee tables in Scotland that haven’t had at least 1 of their delights grace it. It was a real pleasure to meet the inventor of the teacake himself – Boyd Tunnock and take a tour of the factory.
